May 15 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Randolph Russell, Author
American History in No Time
Randolph is the author of American History in No Time, a concise overview from pre-colonial times to the founding of the United States and all the way up to the present. It can be read in just a few hours. The book has been used at colleges, but it is easy for anyone to understand, including children and people who may not have liked history before. Randolph will have copies available for purchase at the meeting.
His informative, motivational, and entertaining presentations on American history and civics literacy have been enthusiastically received by more than a hundred Rotary clubs from Orlando to Kansas City to Las Vegas. He is a former professional musician and closes by playing a patriotic number on the saxophone (https://www.facebook.com/highpointrotary/videos/189151812388123).
