Dr. Sheeba Dawood is a pioneering researcher and entrepreneur at the forefront of sustainable technology development. With a focus on multifunctional hierarchical materials, including porous metal organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs), Dr. Dawood has significantly contributed to the fields of gas adsorption, separation, sensing, and catalysis. Her groundbreaking research has been published in over 8 peer-reviewed journals and recognized with an H-index of 6 on Google Scholar, alongside a highly cited book chapter.

As the CEO and senior research scientist of Minerva Lithium LLC, Dr. Dawood leads a dynamic team in revolutionizing mineral extraction technology for the clean energy transition. Leveraging Nano-mosaic processes developed, Minerva Lithium is poised to deliver a sustainable, domestic supply of critical minerals. Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Dr. Dawood honed her expertise as an Entrepreneurial Lead in the National Science Foundation I-Corps program and as a visiting researcher at the University of Queensland.

Dr. Dawood earned her PhD in Nanoscience from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, where she laid the foundation for her exceptional career trajectory. She has been recognized as a top CEO in mineral space and was honored with the prestigious 40 under 40 awards by the TBJ.
