Rotary Youth Leadership Program Featured on Fox 8 WGHP

Greensboro Rotary’s flagship service project, Rotary Youth Leadership Program (RYLP), was featured in a live interview on Fox 8 on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at 8:15 a.m.

The purpose is to promote RYLP’s work in Central North Carolina by Rotary, The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), and the graduates of RYLP.
Steven Miller, project lead, will be representing Greensboro Rotary and District 7690. Steven is a member of Greensboro Rotary and an eye professional by trade. There are about 1750 graduates of RYLP, many now serving as leaders in North Carolina–one of whom is David Fountain, President of Duke Energy’s NC business.
Maddie Lombardo-Space, representing CCL, she is the lead instructor for the 2018 RYLP. She can speak to the 36 year history of RYLP, and the content delivered to the about 50 rising high school junior and seniors attending the program.
Two RYLP graduates will also be featured. Sainyani Mukombe, participated in 2003 graduate when he was a student at Graham High School. He is now an attorney with The Law Office of L.T. Williams, PC. Also, Adam Glass who attended in 2000 as a student at Asheboro High School. He is now employed by CCL as a Sr. Financial Analyst.
Since 1983, Rotary and the Center for Creative Leadership have been hosting some of Central North Carolina’s top high school students to the Rotary Youth Leadership Program at Guilford College. RYLP provides world-class leadership skills for rising high school junior and seniors in a residential college setting.The 2018 event will be held July 22-28
