GMA Update

G. Mark Prince is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Guilford Merchants Association (GMA) and FirstPoint, Inc. Established in 1906, GMA is a Triad business membership association that provides a wide array of resources to help businesses grow and prosper. With offices in Greensboro and Raleigh, FirstPoint, Inc. has over 300 employees, providing accounts receivable management, customer call center services, background screening, and association management.

For many years, Mark has been actively involved and served as a leader on many corporate boards and charitable organizations.  He is currently serving on the boards of the Greensboro Sports Foundation, Gateway University Research Park, Inc., UNCG’s Board of Visitors, East Greensboro NOW, Business High Point Chamber, Downtown Greensboro Inc., and Greensboro Economic Development and Governmental Affairs Committee.  Prior boards include the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, North Carolina A&T Board of Visitors, and the High Point Economic Development Corporation.

Mark is a native of Wilmington, NC and earned both his undergraduate degree in Business Administration (’83) and MBA (’84) from East Carolina University.
