Duke Energy: Planning for the Future
Hank Henning has served as District Manager for Government and Community Relations for Duke Energy since March 2022. His responsibilities include working with municipal customers and managing philanthropic efforts in the community for the Duke Energy Foundation.
Hank worked as an account executive for Houston-based utility, CenterPoint Energy, a role in which he advised local and state governments on programs to achieve their energy efficiency, sustainability, and resiliency goals. From 2008 to 2018, he was an HVAC account executive for Greensboro-based employer, Brady Services.
Hank served on the Guilford County Board of County Commissioners from 2012 to 2020, including as vice- chairman and chairman. He also served in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007, including tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.
Hank is a native of Michigan and is a 1997 graduate of Michigan State University. He currently resides in High Point, NC with his wife, Stormy, and two sons, Henry and Eli.
