Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army

by Carey Pahel and Randy White, Contributors

It is that time of year again when we have the opportunity to participate in one of our most worthwhile and enjoyable projects, Bell Ringing for the causes of the Salvation Army. These include providing food, shelter, clothing, and other necessities for individuals in need within our community. We have the opportunity to meet and talk to our neighbors who shop at the Walmart off East Cone Blvd., (Pyramid Village), who have always given generously to this cause.

This year, we will offer both one and two hour blocks of time to Ring the Bell beginning November 27th and ending December 23rd. Each of us will have the opportunity to sign up for one or more time slots, beginning immediately, by either clicking here for the Service Signup or signing up at any of our weekly meetings.

This year we strongly encourage bringing a family member, friend, or prospective Rotarian to join and assist you while you while you meet the public.

We would like to get the time slots filled quickly, so we encourage you to go to the website and select your most convenient time(s).

Randy White and Carey Pahel are overseeing this project, (with a thank you to Hugh Jones) for setting up the Genius.  Any questions related to the project may be directed to Randy at [email protected] or Carey at [email protected].
