Jason Peloquin
Affinity Painting and Cabinet Refinishing

Jason Peloquin, sponsored by Hugh Jones, spent four years in the US Army and earned a BS in Criminal Justice Administration focused on Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Mount Olive.  Subsequently he spent 16 years in law enforcement prior to retiring medically as a Police Lieutenant in 2015 from the Carrboro Police Department. After his retirement from law enforcement, he launched Affinity Painting and Cabinet Refinishing, a residential painting and refinishing business. While Jason lives in Burlington, the majority of his business is in Greensboro. His significant other is Gena Thomas, and Jason has two children. His passions include drums, fingerstyle guitar, aerial photography, and piloting drones. Jason’s classification is Commercial Paint Contractor.

Rob Lusiana
Health Care Broker/Consultant

Robert (Rob) Luisana, sponsored by David Moff, is a graduate of East Carolina University, taught social studies and coached boys basketball at Kerr Lake School and Southern Guilford High School for 9 years. For the past 34 years he has worked in the insurance industry. He currently works as a broker/consultant with corporate medical, dental, vision plans for businesses and is a frequent speaker on healthcare issues, the Affordable Care Act and whether anything is right with our current medical system. He is married to Karen, an antique dealer and Furniture Showroom Director, and has 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys backpacking, reading, basketball and movies. Perhaps his most fun achievement was being named captain of the Guilford County Senior Games Basketball Team…. “Deadmen Dribbling.” His classification is Insurance:  Health Care.

Jen Prpich
Milestone Hotels

Jenea (Jen) Shawnee Prpich, sponsored by Hugh Jones, is new to Greensboro, where she is with Milestone Hotels syndicate as their Hotel Development/General Manager with responsibility for new acquisitions and growing their properties. A graduate of Madison University (BS in Health Care Administration), Jen also has a long history as a Rotarian, beginning in the Sault Ste Marie (NC) club in 2001 and followed by the Reynolda Rotary in Winston-Salem and the Chattanooga Downtown Rotary in Tennessee. Her volunteer experiences include among other things board involvement in the Sault Ste Marie Club as well as in the Chambers of Commerce in Michigan, Winston Salem, and Sault Ste Marie, where she was also president of the CVB. She and her husband Mark have two teenagers, and her hobbies currently revolve around their sports and music activities as well as leading a Sunday School class. Jen’s passion is the Rotary Youth Exchange program through which she has already hosted students from Indonesia and France. Her classification is Hotel Management – Development.

Kim Wilson
BHHS Yost and Little Realty

Kimberly (Kim)Wilson, sponsored by Pat Vreeland, is a Realtor/Broker at BHHS Yost and Little Realty in their Elm Street office.  Originally from Texas with an Interior Design and Architecture degree from University of North Texas, Kim and her husband Scott (Director of Operations, Greensboro Radiology) have two very active daughters, Alyse (14 and a golfer) and Lily Kate (12 and an equestrian).  Kim has a wealth of leadership experience, including leading her Advisory Team for the Elm Street BHHS Yost and Little office through which she has volunteered with the Second Harvest Food Bank, Greensboro Urban Ministries, and most recently the Children’s Home Society for which she headed up a bike drive in December.  She also began and teaches a Sunday School Class, spent nine years as a Girl Scout leader, and does a myriad of other volunteer activities along with taking yoga and Pilates.  Her classification is Real Estate – Residential.

Susan (Susy) Wrenn, sponsored by Marion Hubbard, is the recently retired Vice President of Finance for Johnston Properties. A graduate of UNCG with a BA in Early Childhood, she is married to Rodney DeBusk and has 2 children and 1 grandchild. Susy has a long history of community service, including volunteering at the Greensboro Day School and Guilford County Schools, the Junior League of Greensboro, and the Greensboro Ballet (board member). In her spare time, Susy has an excellent tennis game and enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and event planning. Her classification is Commercial Real Estate:  Finance.

Paula Fowler
Salvation Army

Paula Fowler:  Paula, sponsored by Pat Vreeland, is a recent Rotary transfer to our club. Until her recent move to Greensboro to be near family and take the position of Director of Development for the Salvation Army, she spent her professional life in chambers of commerce. She initially joined Rotary in 1987 as the first woman in the Presque Isle, Maine Rotary Club.  There she served on the board, co-chaired their special fundraising auction, and helped with their Polio Plus fundraisers by creating a Keystone Cops fun day for the club and community. She transferred to the Danville, Kentucky Club in 2004, and while there she served as president, organized a new Rotaract Club at Centre College, and served District 6710 as Assistant District Governor for 5 years and also served on the district’s Strategic Action Planning Committee on Communications/Public Relations as well as on the Nominating Committee for the 2010-11 Governor Nominee. Subsequently she was the club’s International Chair and sponsored international students. Paula has one married daughter, a teacher in North Charleston, SC.  Her classification is Development.
