The Rotary Youth Leadership Program: Rotary’s Role in Creating Tomorrow’s Leaders
Since graduating from Duke Law School in 1995, Natalie has been preventing and solving workplace issues. She started with Gibson Dunn in Dallas, Texas, defending employers in harassment and discrimination litigation and administrative proceedings. When she joined Brooks Pierce in Greensboro, NC, she continued that role and expanded into policy development and training for some of the Triad’s premier employers. The next stage of her career she acted as the employer, serving as in-house counsel and operations manager for a regional technology company. This gave her opportunities to coach and develop supervisors, manage a workplace environment, and explore multiple aspects of running a business. Natalie founded Professional Business Cultures to draw on her background in employment law and her passion for positive work environments. Her mission through PBC is to raise the level of professionalism to prevent harassment and workplace misconduct. She is a speaker, trainer, and consultant for leaders looking to build their workplace cultures and reap the benefits of inclusive, engaging business environments.
When not focused on work, Natalie is a fan of Duke basketball. Natalie loves travel, especially to places with special significance such as the Middle East in 2017 where she explored Israel and Jordan. She has volunteered her time in a variety of capacities from pro bono legal work to helping rebuild homes after Hurricane Katrina. Currently, she volunteers through The Rotary Club of Greensboro as the Lead Rotarian for the Rotary Youth Leadership Program, at West Market Street United Methodist Church, and with the Girl Scouts.
