ShelterBox and Rotary

James “Jim” Miller, an Ohio native, completed 28 years of active service with Air Force and 10 years as the HR Director for a Software/Engineering service company. He retired to Florida and discovered ShelterBox as a Rotarian in 2005 after the Tsunami and started working with the charity in 2006.  To his credit he assisted with the recruiting of ShelterBox Response Team candidates from the US and Canada. Additionally he completed two deployments; Nepal in 2008 and the Philippines in 2013. He is currently the ShelterBox Ambassador.

In 2015 he moved to North Carolina and became a member of the Jonesboro Rotary Club. James and his wife Donna live in Sanford and enjoy traveling and visiting grandchildren. He is also known to find a golf course here and there to abuse.
