Honda Aircraft Company: A Brief History and HondaJet Program Update

Jessica Ketner is the corporate communications team lead at Honda Aircraft Company. She responsible for managing all communication between the company and media, including fielding media inquiries, proactively pitching media, distributing company announcements and press releases and developing and executing media strategies.

Upon receiving undergraduate degrees in political science and communication from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington she followed her passion. With a keen interest in local, national and international news she joined FOX News Channel’s media relations department in New York, New York. After nearly six years in New York with FOX, Jessica and her husband moved back home to North Carolina to reside in Greensboro.

She joined Honda Aircraft Company because she wished to work for a growing international company. Honda Aircraft is revolutionizing the business aviation industry. She works alongside employees who are passionate about creating new technologies that ultimately improve the lives of others.

Jessica believes that community involvement is a key component to personal and professional success. As a member of the Junior League of Greensboro she serves as community programs chair. She is also a member of the Corks for Kids Path’s host committee and also volunteers regularly for Out of the Garden Project.

Jessica is a voracious reader and enjoys traveling, playing golf, running/biking Greensboro’s trails, attending local galleries and trying new restaurants.
