Captain Chris Raymer, “The Salvation Army of Greensboro” (November 30)
November 30, 2022 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Captain Chris Raymer, The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army of Greensboro
Captains Chris and Carla Raymer joined The Salvation Army of Greensboro as the Corps Officers in June 2021. Both have been involved in the ministry of The Salvation Army since they were children. As children to Salvation Officer parents, both Chris and Carla got a firsthand look on what it means to serve the least, the last, and the lost. It was not until later in life that God placed a specific calling on both of their lives to become Salvation Army Officers.
Captain Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Hotel/Restaurant Administration from Oklahoma State University and previously worked for Omni Hotels and Resorts. Captain Carla received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. Both Chris and Carla followed the calling to ministry with The Salvation Army through the Evangeline Booth College in Atlanta, GA, receiving their Bachelor of Arts in Practical Ministries.
Chris has been a Rotarian since 2017 first joining in Frederick, MD. Chris and Carla have three beautiful children. They find it a privilege to be able to represent The Salvation Army on the front lines of meeting human needs without discrimination in Greensboro and they would like to thank the community of donors, volunteers, and supporters who have come alongside The Salvation Army to accomplish such a great task.
