Dave Boliek, North Carolina State Auditor

Dave Boliek is the 21st State Auditor of North Carolina, serving as the state’s fiscal watchdog and working to protect taxpayer dollars through accountability and transparency. As head of the North Carolina Office of the State Auditor, he oversees audits of more than $100 billion in state assets and liabilities each year, shining a light on government spending and recommending reforms that strengthen good governance. Under his leadership, the office investigates fraud, waste, and abuse of public funds and works closely with law enforcement as needed. His work helps ensure government operates more effectively, efficiently, and responsibly on behalf of all North Carolinians.
