Marc Tyrey received his J.D., cum laude, from Campbell Law School in 1997. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Guilford County from 1997 to 2001. From 2001-2019 he engaged in the private practice of law in Guilford County at (1) Wyatt, Early, Harris & Wheeler, LLP, (2) McCallister & Tyrey, PLLC and, ultimately, Tyrey Law Offices. Tyrey’s practice career was almost exclusively civil and/or criminal litigation. In December 2019, Tyrey was appointed by Governor Roy A. Cooper as a District Court Judge.
