Kim Reed is an influential executive leader with a distinguished career spanning 35 years across three blue chip companies, PepsiCo, Kellanova (formerly Kellogg Company), and ITG Brands. Today she serves as President and CEO of Greensboro-based ITG Brands, the largest market of Imperial Brands, LLC, and best known as the maker of Winston and Kool cigarettes and blu, a vape product. She leads a $4 billion enterprise with 3,500 employees.
Kim’s leadership prowess is unparalleled, evident in her previous role as Executive Vice President of U.S. Sales for ITG Brands, where she led a sales force of over 1,000 employees, overseeing a market responsible for over $4 billion in net revenue. Under her guidance, ITG Brands emerged as a market leader, setting unprecedented benchmarks and spearheading the largest sales transformation in the company’s history. Prior to assuming her role at ITG Brands, Kim had a progressive career with Kellogg Company, where she built and led a high-performing U.S. Sales team for the largest business unit across multiple categories. At Kellogg, Kim navigated complex market landscapes, driving significant growth and solidifying Kellogg’s position as an industry leader in consumer goods.
Kim’s impact has been vast, earning her recognition as a member of Diversity Woman Magazine’s Elite 100 Class of 2022, named a Top Woman in Convenience by Convenience Store News, a Triad Business Journal Power Player, a Top Executive Woman by Progressive Grocer, and a Top African American Leader by Diversity Journal. In addition to her professional endeavors, Kim remains deeply engaged in community and industry initiatives. Kim is on the Board of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and is an active volunteer for the United Way and Family Wellness centers. She has also served as Chair of the Manufacturer’s Convenience Distributors, a board member of Calibr, and a member of Network Executive Women and the Executive Leadership Council, where she contributed her expertise to foster meaningful change on a national scale.
Aside from work, Kim is a dedicated wife to her husband, Donald, and mother to her two adult children, Austin and Kennedy. Kim enjoys spending quality time with family, traveling, and listening to her favorite music
