A Tribute to Don Brady – An Extraordinary Rotarian and Community Leader

Our deepest sympathy is with the family of Past President Don Brady (1974-75) who passed away on Friday, June 18, after a valiant fight against cancer. Don was accepted into Greensboro Rotary in 1964. He is a Rotary Benefactor, achieved a Paul Harris Fellow four times, and designated wife Mary Gay Brady as a Paul Harris Fellow. He was a generous person, always giving and doing more than what was expected. Sons Jim and Joe Brady are also members of Greensboro Rotary.
Don Brady lived the Rotary mantra of Service Above Self. Of the many stories being recalled and told and retold about Don, they mostly involve examples of how much Don cared for other people.
Below is a collection of some of the recent media that shares his story.
