To the Hoop – After Work Networking
Mingle with fellow Rotarians and guests and experience Weatherspoon Art Museum’s slam dunk exhibit, “To the Hoop: Basketball and Contemporary Art.” The exhibition will explore basketball’s intersection with contemporary art and culture. The work of over twenty artists will delve into ways in which race, gender, and economics help to shape both he sport and the art world.
Social begins at 5:30 p.m.. Remarks from curator Emily Stamey at 6:00 p.m.
