Guilford County Schools: A Place for ALL Children to Learn

Sara Jones is the Principal of Gateway Education, a position she has held for 10 years. She has been a principal with Guilford County Schools serving public separate schools since 2011. Before becoming a principal Ms. Jones was a special education teacher. She taught students with significant disabilities in both North Carolina and Ohio and has been in education for 28 years. Ms. Jones received her undergraduate education from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio and her master’s degree in educational leadership from The University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Ms. Jones is originally from Ohio but moved to North Carolina 23 years ago and considers it home. She currently lives in Trinity with her husband.
