Greensboro Parks & Recreation: Enhance, Expand, Connect

Nasha McCray was appointed to serve as the City of Greensboro’s Director of Parks and Recreation on January 2018, after nearly nine years working for Greensboro Parks and Recreation as the Planning and Project Division Manager and Deputy Director. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native is only the second woman to ever hold that job — and the first African-American Greensboro Parks and Recreation director. The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department exists to provide professional and diverse leisure opportunities through inclusive programs, facilities, parks and open space; ensuring that Greensboro is a desirable place to work, live, and play.
