“Climate Change: Impacts and Solutions”

Etsuko Kinefuchi, Ph.D is an associate professor of Communication Studies at the UNC Greensboro and affiliated faculty with the Department of Geography, Environment, and Sustainability. Her research and teaching focus on the examination of the ways in which communication shapes culture, identity, and the environment and the relationship among them. She also serves as the University’s Academic Sustainability Coordinator to foster the inclusion of sustainability into curriculum, research, and community engagement. In the community, she is a Climate Reality leader with the newly formed Guilford County chapter of the Climate Reality Project, a non-profit, international organization that promotes climate change education and solutions.
