Finding Inspiration: How Theatre Makes Us Better Humans

Prior to Triad Stage, Executive Director Kate Holland was on the general management team of the Ambassador Theatre Group’s landmarked Hudson Theatre. She was a theatrical Associate General Manager for Aruba Productions, which managed commercial and non-profit off-Broadway and touring shows. She has held leadership roles at State Theatre New Jersey, Baltimore Center Stage, NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, University of Maryland’s The Clarice, and a robust freelance career with several Drama Desk and Outer Critic’s Circle awards and nominations. Kate worked as the Grants Coordinator for the DeVos Institute of Arts Management under arts guru Michael Kaiser and raised $250k for the Children’s Tumor Foundation in a Cupid’s Charities volunteer leadership position. Academic Qualifications: MA from New York University; MS from Shenandoah Conservatory in Performing Arts Leadership and Management; current PhD Candidate in University of Kentucky’s Arts Administration program.
