Greensboro Community Television (Cable 8) provides Greensboro-area residents, organizations, agencies and institutions with television programming on a first-come, first-served non-discriminatory basis, free from censorship.

The primary goal of Greensboro Community Television is to promote free expression of diverse ideas and facilitate first amendment rights of free speech on the Cable 8 Public access channel! We stand ready for individuals, groups or organizations interested in producing educational, cultural, informational or other community-oriented television programs by joining GCTV today.

John Graham, a Wake Forest University graduate, became the Executive Director of Greensboro Community Television July 1st, 2022 and looks forward to expanding the scope and coverage of the community.  Just prior to taking the helm of GCTV, Graham worked for Governor Roy Cooper in the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources as the Director of Visitor Experience. Within the greater Greensboro community, John has served as Deputy Director of Administration with Guilford Child Development and as Director of Development for Preservation Greensboro.  Prior to that, he was Associate Vice President and Trust Specialist for A.G.
