Brian Etheridge is president of Leadership North Carolina. Brian’s extensive statewide connections and work in the nonprofit sector, coupled with his studies in Education, make Brian well-suited to bring Leadership North Carolina’s vision to life. Staying true to his North Carolina roots, Brian is an alumnus and past member of the Board of Visitors of The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. In addition to service to numerous community organizations, including the YMCA of the Triangle, Edenton Street United Methodist Church, and Now Serving, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, exercising with his friends from @F3Raleigh, and serving as a volunteer leader with his son’s Scout Troop. Brian and his wife Meredith have three children who inspire them every day.

About Brian:
About Kelly:
Kelly Turner serves as program director at Leadership North Carolina. She brings to this role more than 25 years of experience in project management, communications, and consulting for a variety of nonprofits. She recently earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Kelly studied English and political science at the University of Richmond and earned her MA in English from Simmons College in Boston. In her free time she enjoys reading, cycling, paddle-boarding, and walks with rescue hounds Abbott and Tobin. Kelly and her husband, Mark, have a junior at UNC Asheville and a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill.
Kelly is a regular volunteer at the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, newly scuba certified, and a devoted supporter of the serial comma. The shift to working from home has been very good for her ping pong game.
