The Five Most Important Things I’ve Learned in Family Business

David Worth is the CEO of Worth Industries and former Executive Director of the Family Enterprise Center at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.  Working in family business has unique dynamics that are important to understand whether you are working in a family business or working with family businesses.  As a third-generation member of a family business based in Greensboro, David learned some tips for managing the distinct needs of business owning families. Most recently, as Executive Director of UNC’s family business program, he engaged with many families and business owners to help them through the inevitable challenges and opportunities all families face. David will discuss some of the key aspects of working with family businesses and promises we will have some fun along the way.
