Jim Himes has been General Manager for FOX8/WGHP for nearly 10 years and worked in broadcast television for over 30 years. FOX8/WGHP produces 11.5 hours of local news M-F and produces more than 50 local specials on subjects varying from health care to the Daytona 500. While times and technologies change seemly daily, the commitment to quality journalism, community and building local business is still paramount. Jim will discuss some of these changes and what lies ahead for the station as it continually reinvents itself to stay relevant while serving a growing and changing viewership on air and usership on line.
