Vision and Planning for Downtown Greensboro

Stu’s career as an attorney and compliance professional spanned more than three decades working from offices on three continents.  Since 2010, Stu held legal and compliance roles in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.  Prior to that, Stu worked for twelve years as the Chief Counsel of U.S.-based publicly traded technology companies in Silicon Valley.

These days Stu spends time developing and managing real estate while serving as a Commissioner on the Greensboro Planning and Zoning Commission and as Board Chair for Downtown Greensboro Incorporated.  Stu also serves on the Investment Committee of First Launch Capital Fund, a Greensboro-based early-stage venture fund.

Stu received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law.  He earned admission to the California Bar and was a Foreign Qualified Lawyer in Singapore.
