Angel Flight for Victory Junction Attendee from Maryland

By Warren Ludlam, Contributor

Recently, Eric Perdew, club member and one of our Greensboro Rotary/Angel Flight team pilots, was assisted by family friend Janelle Robinson in flying Caitlin, a teen cancer patient, to Greensboro from her home in Hagerstown, Maryland, for a young adult weekend at Victory Junction camp.

Donations from the Greensboro Rotary Club Foundation are used by our volunteer pilots to provide the fuel for their private planes on Angel Flight missions, flying cancer patients, kidney patients, burn survivor children, tumor patients, organ donors, transplant patients, and others dealing with chronic health issues at no charge.

The flights by Greensboro Rotary’s pilots benefit chronically ill children, adults, and military veterans by making available free air transportation to/from their specialized medical appointments and for reasons of compassion. Club members interested in experiencing one of our Angel Flight missions are invited to fly along by contacting Eric or Warren.
